How to cook Beef Wet Fry

  1. In a sufuria, add meat, salt, ginger garlic and water altogether.
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer on very low heat for about 45mins to 1hour or until most of the water has evaporated.
  3. When the meat is soft and tender, remove any water that may be left and set it aside.
  4. To the meat in the sufuria, add some oil, onions, chilli and fry until the onions turn slightly brown.
  5. Add the tomatoes, stir and fry on low heat. Cover for 10mins or until the tomatoes are soft and crushed.
  6. Add the rest of the seasoning (royco cubes or preferably 1tsp of tomato sauce, a tsp of flour and a pinch of black pepper) then add 1/2 cup of water and simmer on low heat for about 20mins.
  7. Remove from heat when most of the water has evaporated and broth is thick in texture.
  8. Finish by adding the dhania and serve when hot.
  9. Best enjoyed with ugali, mukimo or vegetables.
