Instructions
  1. Marinate the chicken with lime juice and salt then set aside.For around 40 mins.
  2. Ina separate pot,over medium heat ,add the oil with ghee then go in with the onions,let it cook as you turn for a min then add all the other whole spices,turn and toss until well mixed,go in with the sweet peppers,garlic-ginger paste then the potatoes.Cook for about 2 mins.
  3. Add the chicken,continue to stir well until partly cooked then add the rice,mix well then add the cups of water and bring to a boil,add salt to taste and adjust seasoning,cook until its almost dry and water has evaporated.Reduce the heat to low and cover with a tight lid.
  4. Steam for about 15 mins or until your water has dried up and the rice looks fluffy.Serve with kachumbari and pilipili masala
